Why I Carry and Ipod
I am a self-proclaimed iPhone addict, yet I still carry my iPod. I don’t really have a reason for it except that I have been doing it for years. I guess I am programmed to take it wherever I go, good job Steve Jobs. I first got turned onto MP3 players almost 10 years ago and since then I have always had one in one for or another. It started with one that held like 20 songs (I forget what it was called), and now they hold thousands upon thousands of songs and can also play movies. Sure my iPhone can also do all those things but it just wouldn’t be the same.
iPhone GPS
I never used my iPhones GPS as I haven’t been anywhere recently that made it a necessity. In fact I’m not really a huge fan of GPS’s in general (maybe its the conspiracy theorist in me). I was just wondering how comprehensive it is, does it have local points of interests and will it alert me when I am approaching my exit (like Onstar). This feature would really come in handy since at night I have a hard time reading exit signs. I doubt it talks to you, though it would be cool if it could use the cars speakers through a docking station. If this isn’t possible I’m sure there is an app being developed somewhere that performs that very task. In any case I think I’ll take it for a spin this weekend.
